EKrug_Headshot1Ed Krug trained as an architect and has spent almost 30 years applying the discipline of design thinking to build solutions for a range of business development and operational problems—finding new revenue sources, creating marketing communications and sales teams, and finding rationales for whether and how to outsource services. He’s had leadership roles and global assignments in the US, the UK, India and the Middle East at Fortune 500’s like Pitney Bowes and Xerox, as well as at start-ups like Office Tiger and Satellier. He also spent five years building the marketing communications consulting division of Aquent.

Global brands that Ed has had the privilege to work with as a consultant include Florida Power & Light, Philips Electronics, US Gypsum, Kohler and Bristol-Meyers Squibb.

Ed is a graduate of the University of Virginia, is a passionate follower of
design, and renovates modernist houses on the eastern end of Long Island.

yesmamPeggy Mitchell-King has had a long and successful career in marketing, focusing on creative execution and new business development for a wide range of the world’s leading brands, including American Express, Mattel, Nissan, McDonald’s, Hershey and Colgate. Prior to becoming a marketing communications and new business consultant, Peggy was VP – Global Advertising and Branding at the American Express Company. Her responsibilities included brand positioning, brand identity, market research, card design and global advertising development, execution and placement. She managed budgets of $150MM+ and negotiated agency fees for the entire corporation.

Peggy has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Art from Vassar College, a Bachelor of Science in Urban Landscape Architecture from City College School of Architecture, and a Master of Business Administration from Columbia University. Married to a photographer, and with a daughter in law school, in her spare time, Peggy paints and studies ballet.
